やっていることは極普通の解析で、さまざまな疾患の解析に利用されている方法です。それ自体問題はないと思います。問題はそれではこのような手法で”麻酔薬”の麻酔作用を説明するターゲットが見いだせるかと言うことだと思います。
今回はEtherの感受性に関する遺伝子ということですが、感受性の試験が結構あやしい。
また今なら、GABA受容体が怪しいなら四の五の言わんと遺伝子改変ネズミを作って見たらいいのではないかということがあります。

と言うことですが、読んだ限りではそう思えないのですがこれはぼくの理解力のせいなのかどうかがこれまたわかりません。
